Its warmer here than in Australia...
Warm like toast
The hostel is completely centrally heated, so you should never get cold here. Each room has a radiator in it, with a variable temperature contol.
Its not always cold..
Edinburgh can get very cold in winter, but in summer its actually often very beautiful weather. We try to control when the heating as needed. We leave it on 24 hours in winter, but in summer we scale that down. We don't want to get hot and stuffy!
Hot Water
Hot water is available 24 hours a day. Some of the showers run off the central system, while others use an instantaneous electric system located in the shower.
